Dinghy to Dust – Repairing BareBare (Ep. 1) Every other boat has left the anchorage, fleeing from the massive 4–6 meter swell rolling in. But BareBare has no engine—she’s stuck, unable to move to safety. Meanwhile, Leif Erik battles rough conditions to fix the dinghy, only to discover it’s in far worse shape than expected. The dinghy, coated in epoxy and cloth back in Norway, seemed solid—but water had sneaked in under the railing, rotting the plywood from the inside out. Now, Leif Erik has to remove the damaged parts (an alarmingly easy task, given how rotten they are!) and replace them with fresh wood.
