Day 1 of the CYCA Trophy Series race brought out 21 yachts including Wild Oats X & XI, Black Jack 100, Beau Geste, Wizard & Derucci. Wild Oats XI led the fleet out of the Heads The fleet headed south to a sea mark before returning to Sydney. Wild Oats XI took line hours with Black Jack 100 coming a close second three minutes behind. RayWhiteElizabethBay won IRC Division 1. HMAS Canberra provided an awesome background.
