Cooking on a boat! Preparing a hot meal at sea in my 1970 Contessa 26 using one ring & fresh food

Cooking at sea on an Origo spirit stove in a small sailing boat, Contessa 26. Watch me prepare a nice hot meal from fresh ingredients during a lively force 6 blow in the middle of the Irish sea! On the way home from the 2023 Jester Challenge , I decided to record a cooking video, and here it is.. Cooking at its simplest; no fridge, no fancy ingredients (apart from a tin of chopped tomatoes) Many people are nervous of cooking at sea, I hope this video will inspire you to have a go, when you see how easy it is and how you only need a bare minimum of facilities and equipment. Here I make a simple vegetable curry, the ingredients are: A tablespoon of olive oil 1 onion 3 cloves of garlic A lump of fresh ginger 1 sweet pepper 1 small fresh chilli 1 tin of chopped tomatoes 2 teaspoons medium curry powder Half a dozen boiled potatoes A few cooked carrots A little water You can use any ingredients you have to hand, these are just what I had..
