Channel Islands, Saint Malo, the Rance & Dinan

Thalmia was sailed singlehanded across the English Channel overnight (a bit uncomfortable and tiring!). Three boats sailing in company, we visited St Peter Port on Guernsey, Sark, Gorey on Jersey, Saint Malo and then up the river and canal of the Rance to the town of Dinan. One boat had the mast lowered using a self help crane (which was a real challenge for all of us!) to proceed through the canals of Britany. Two of us, both singlehanded returned via Saint Malo and Guernsey.
