Designed by Laurent Giles the brief was to provide ease of sailing and operation from both the cockpit and in the main saloon. Designed in such way as to provide 360 degree visibility while seated in the lounge or at the internal wheel and navigation area. This had to be coupled to a ketch rig for ease of handling. The Carbineer 46 is renowned for its ocean going abilities and comfort at anchor. Jo D’Affaire is a one owner boat, ordered new and delivered to present owner in 1980. Very well maintained and in very original condition, very clean throughout. She is well proven and has cruised all over East Coast of Australia, Western Pacific and Japan.
