In part eighteen of this series on how to build a wooden Snipe class sailboat I show how to make a tiller and tiller extension for the rudder. I mill the rough parts our of mahogany and then cut them to shape with a bandsaw. Then I hand finish the parts with planes, chisels, and sand paper. Once I layout the attachment points, I drill and install bushings to prevent wear. Finally I mount the tiller on the rudder. Plans & Information: https://snipeusa.com/ https://www.snipe.org/
