BRUTAL Below Waterline RE-Paint WORK! (pt.1) Ep.188 Building my steel sailing yacht
HEAPS of WORK going ON! I get the Deck Stripe painting done, my son Samuel joins me with his INCREDIBLY hard working and willing help with all sorts of things needing to be done as well as teaching me for my first ever Drone flight and we get stuck in to more BRUTAL sanding work for the Boot-stripe and Hull below the waterline! SO MUCH WORK DONE! Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval architects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress. There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,... However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,...
