After cruising the Gulf of Mexico 155 miles south to Marathon in the Florida Keys, we decide to grab a mooring ball in Boot Key Harbor as we wait for a weather window to go north. We get to know the Boot Key facilities, make a couple grocery runs and tackle some boat projects.
