Building a cruising sailboat We're back to the build and back in the fore peak. The bilges are painted out and the fore mast partners are fashioned. There's even a bit of progress on the port side settee, along with the start of the fitting of the fore deck. The boat utilises a hard-chined, plywood construction and this design of boat is a proven, capable, ocean-going vessel. Boat building with plywood is a relatively easy and cost-effective way to produce a strong, monocoque-style boat hull. These videos aim to show the way in which I go about it. Thank you! Tony
