BF28 tabletop milling machine converted to CNC with Arduino nano and Estlcam.

I converted my milling machine into a CNC machine. The BF 28 milling machine is a tabletop milling machine and is well suited to convert to a CNC milling machine. The HBM BF 28 milling machine is identical with the Mathews precision PM-25MV. The conversion of this milling machine is not very complicated. You need the correct ball screws and stepper motors. The software I use to control my BF 28 milling machine is called Estlcam. Estlcam is a very good software if you want to start with CNC. With Estlcam you can use an Arduino microcontroller for CNC control. That makes the conversion to CNC cheaper and easy. Of course, you can also use Grbl if you want to do a CNC conversion with Arduino, but for a three-axis CNC mill, Estlcam is easier to set up.
