Bavaria 42 EARENDIL

** NOW SOLD ** Earendil is a 2005 Bavaria 42. This is a three cabin, two head, twin wheel cruising yacht in excellent condition. Earendil has lived in a marina berth since new with hatches and cockpit covered. She has clearly had experienced and caring owners who have maintained the yacht in top condition. The interior is light and airy and finished in mahogany. The saloon upholstery was replaced in 2015 with a beautiful microfiber. The cabins are spacious, particularly the forward owner’s cabin which is a semi-island berth with impressive floor space and a private ensuite. There is a dedicated nav / desk station and the inline galley features two fridges. Navigation equipment is largely by Raymarine and all displays and the two plotters were installed new in 2014. There is RADAR, AIS, and auto-pilot. Solar panels keep the batteries topped up while there is a shore power system with cabin outlets, Mastervolt inverter / charger plus a secondary battery charger. Standing rigging was replaced in 2014 by Riggtech and sails include a large overlapping headsail (#1), a #3 and the fully battened main (new battens and cars in 2015 for easy raising and dropping). The blue hull and cabin stripes have been painted and look stunning. The twin wheel cockpit is practical, modern, and super impressive with the epoxy polished teak cockpit table. There are custom side cockpit covers. The custom stainless steel davits / targa system lift the dinghy easily and is operated by one person. The dinghy is raised high to allow for easy cockpit access and to allow for clear views while in the cockpit. All lighting including nav lights are LED. The Volvo was upgraded on original order to the larger 55hp (naturally aspirated so no turbo to service) and has been regularly serviced. The keel is the upgraded lead version. Earendil is a ready to sail option in great condition with a solid inventory.
