Still owned by her original owners, Circe has been well maintained and has been used for exactly what she was designed for… Coastal cruising, some light racing and easy family sailing. This Bavaria 40 Cruiser is a later model offering twin wheels and a large electrically operated drop down boarding platform giving walk through cockpit access from the dock. Accommodation consists of three large double cabins and two heads, one of which is electric and both fitted with holding tanks. Raymarine instrumentation includes two chart plotters (the latest fitted new in 2013 and located between the helms) plus auto-pilot. The German mainsheet system allows the main to be easily controlled by the additional aft winches by the wheels. A carbon pole is included plus a retractable bow sprit. The mainsails performance and ease of pack up has been improved by fitting full battens and Selden cars. The genoa was purchased new in 2012.
