This later model Bavaria 31 (32’1” overall) has impressed us here at Yoti by offering a heap of ‘big boat’ features all in a very easy to handle package. The swing down transom is electric and extends the cockpit massively for entry onto the dock, swimming or just giving more room when relaxing. The cockpit is already surprisingly big with 2.2m long cockpit seats, a generous folding table and also is fitted with a folding Lewmar wheel. A German mainsheet system coming back to both aft winches plus the genoa winches being positioned within reach of the helm means this yacht can be sailed by one – no need to reach to the coach roof once the main is hoisted. Bimini and dodger with infill are in good condition as are the upgraded Tri-raial cut sails. Accommodation below consists of two good sized double cabins, a neat galley to port, dedicated forward facing nav station to starboard and an impressive head and shower with electric head with holding tank.
