It's amazing to be in Panama after a 1,000 mile sail from Mexico. This is our first time in Central America and we love the "off" the beaten path vibe as well as all the amazing wild-life in this jungle environment. The first order of business is to move Calico Skies from the temporary slip we grabbed late last night into a more permanent spot. As luck would have it a powerful squall came through just as we were trying to dock the boat ?. Luckily there was no damage...besides the Captains ego ? After relaxing a few days after passage at Bocas Marina it is time to grab some fresh provisions in town and head off to explore!
