A Warning About Marine Heads : Seagrass Danger

Hello Friends, This is just a short video where I talk about discovering seagrass holding open my seawater intake valve on my head. On our last trip we kept having the problem with the head filling up with seawater even though we had switched the switch on the toilet to the "safe" side. It turned out to be full of seagrass and this could have resulted in the boat sinking if we were not onboard and the bilge pump failed for any reason. My old head was a "Johnson Pump" and was new on the boat when I bought it but it never worked great and broke when I took it apart to inspect the valve. I replaced it with a beautiful new "Jabsco Twist 'n' Lock Manual Head, Marine Toilet" I love Jabsco (even though I pronounce it Jobsco) products, I have their macerator pump onboard Triteia and all of my Y valves are also Jabsco. I hope this helps someone if you ever encounter your bowl overflowing with seawater, this might be a good place to look... If its overflowing with something other than seawater.... please don't call me for help. Thanks for watching and if you enjoy the content please leave a comment and like below or you can donate as little as a dollar a video if you are so inclined on our patreon page.
