89 - Driving the Great Ocean Road

It may only be 151 miles (243km) long, but it quickly rose up the list to be one of the best drives we've ever done. Not only is it scenic, but it's got a great history too as the road was built by returning servicemen after WWI and is the world's largest war memorial. The big attraction on the road, other than the road itself, is the 12 Apostles, which are incredible for sure, but we also really enjoyed the little sea side towns, seeing friends, doing a bit of hiking and even seeing some koalas in the wild. It was a phenomenal trip, topped off with a ferry ride across Port Phillip Bay and our arrival into Melbourne. This road trip may have been over, but we were far from finished with our Australian Tour. Thanks for watching!
