77 - A Fountaine Pajot Regatta to Vanuatu

Two other Fountaine Pajot catamarans joined us for the passage over to Port Resolution, Vanuatu. But before we could clear out of Fiji, we had to celebrate the Admiral's birthday! Once that was properly celebrated, the race was on! We jumped out strong at the start but faced a few challenges along the way, including a pretty significant mechanical failure. Fortunately, we managed an emergency repair (in the middle of the night!) and worked hard to make up the lost ground, trying out different sail combinations and playing the forecasted wind shifts.
