Halong Bay has been a favorite tourist destination for many years and we FINALLY got there. Tick it off the bucket list! We decided to spend 3 days and 2 nights on the water, a bit longer than most people and we are SO glad we did. The extra night gave us more time to enjoy more of the bay and places where there were fewer boats. We highly recommend a cruise on the bay though we hear that staying on Cat Ba Island is the way to go.
