2 Weeks Until Launch | Cleat Modification, Gimble, Life Jacket Demo And First Aid | Episode 26

This is Episode 26 of our adventure, we have 2 weeks until we launch the boat and move aboard. This week Hugh is making a custom bracket to ensure a more secure fit for the cleats on our synthetic toe rail. He fits the gimble to our IKEA Induction cooker and conducts a life jacket demo for the kids using an old jacket. Our 6 year old helps to sort the grab bag and informs us all how to use the first aid equipment. Whilst she doesn't get it all completely correct she says it with the unwavering confidence of her mother so you almost believe her. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have the guts to cast off.
