16. Walking from Whitchurch to Grindley Brook
This week mum and I walked from Whitchurch to Grindley Brook visitor moorings. We checked out the lift bridge, boaters services, the Grindley Brook staircase locks (locks 1-3), The Lockside Cafe, the three stand alone locks (Grindley Brook Locks 4-6), and finally, the Visitor Moorings before turning to head back. This was a literal dry run of this section of the canal which would be part of any trip to a boatyard for hull work.
