11 Days STRANDED - how do you manage that? Sailing Yacht RUN AGROUND rescue by Northern Divers.

Ep 2: Eleven days stranded on a mud bank in the middle of a mile wide river. One crew member needed to be rescued. We needed food and water to survive. This inadvertent adventure set us back on preparations to start our Long Way Down journey to the Med, but it did confirm a few things - 1) this boat is great in shallow water and does beach upright; 2) we could survive each other in close quarters alone: 3) NEVER expect the short voyage to be exactly what you expect and PREPARE for the unexpected. Alison is a real trooper and mucked in with all the chores and managed to remain positive in trying moments. She overcame her fear of the mud walk and lived to tell the tale. Well done Alison!
