[10] Power tools are a girl's best friend (part 2)

We look at some of the uses we made of the power tools and then do a review of how some of the tool could be improved by a few changes in design. These are mid-range tools in terms of price and resilience, but a cheaper tool will sink at the same speed as an expensive one if it falls off the boat, so there seems little point in buying the most expensive tools on offer and it is not like we use them every day to make a living. For occasional DIY they are fine. So, the verdict is that they are a great set of tools with a few minor flaws and we expect to find them very useful on the boat. The fact that they are CORDLESS rather than wired to the mains supply makes them (in our opinion) much, much safer to use when afloat.
