Es geht wir immer umd seglerische Besonderheiten, das Land an sich und Informationen die eben speziell für Yachtcharter Kunden von Interesse sind. Natürlich werden wir auch auf einige allgemeine Themen wir Wetter, geographische Beschaffenheiten und das kulinarische Angebot vor Ort eingehen. Das Revier um das es sich heute dreht, muss man eigentlich sogar fast in drei Regionen einteilen. Süditalien, Sizilien und als Schwerpunkt: Die Liparischen Inseln! Die Liparischen Inseln werden auch äolische Inseln genannt. Der Nam„äolisch“, basiert auf einer griechischen Mythologie, nach welcher sich der Gott Äolus dort seinen Sitz gesucht haben soll, nachdem er vom Göttervater Zeus dazu beauftragt wurde die Winde zu verwalten. Die geographische Lage ist übrigens auch kein Zufall. Die insgesamt 7 Inseln, sind nämlich Teil einer vulkanischen Kette die vom Vesuv bei Neapel bis hin zum Ätna auf Sizilien reicht. Und die ist dadurch entstanden, dass sich die afrikanische über die euroasiatische Erdplatte geschoben hat und auch immer noch schiebt. Das geschieht natürlich sehr, sehr langsam, deshalb bekommen wir das nicht wirklich mit und zu Erdbeben kommt es in dieser Region glücklicherweise auch eher selten. Dennoch sind innerhalb der letzten 350.000 Jahre nördlich von Sizilien insgesamt 20 Inseln aus dem Meer aufgetaucht. Die 7sieben besiedelten Inseln heißen Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi und Panarea und liegen etwa 30 bis 40 Kilometer nördlich von Sizilien. Von Kalabrien, auf dem italienischen Festland, sind sie 80achtzig Kilometer westlich entfernt. Von Neapel sind es nebenbei bemerkt ganze 270 km südlich, weshalb es sich nicht empfehlen würde dort los zu segeln. Jede dieser 7sieben Inseln wird bewohnt und die Einwohnerzahl beläuft sich auf insgesamt circa 14000 Einwohner. Außerdem haben alle Inseln zusammen eine Fläche von 115 km². Die größte Insel ist Lipari mit 37siebenundreisig km²Quadratkilometern und die kleinste mit gerade mal 3,4 km² ist die Insel Panarea. Zum Klima kann man sagen das es sich typisch mediterran verhält, von Oktober bis April liegen die Temperaturen zwischen 10und 20 Grad und von Mai bis September zwischen 20 und 30. Die Wassertemperaturen schwanken zwischen 15 im Winter und 26sechsundzwanzig Grad im Sommer. Für diejenigen unter Ihnen die es lieber warm und sonnig mögen wäre es also besser in den Sommermonaten zu segeln. Außerdem fallen mehr als zwei Drittel der durchschnittlichen Niederschlagsmenge von 600sechshundert Millimetern im Jahr im Winter. Regel 4: Schütze Feuchtgebiete Nehmen Sie in "Feuchtgebieten von internationaler Bedeutung" bei der Ausübung von Wassersport besondere Rücksicht. Diese Gebiete dienen als Lebensstätte seltener Tier- und Pflanzenarten und sind daher besonders schutzwürdig. Regel 5: Vorsicht beim Anlanden und Ablegen Benutzen Sie beim Landen die dafür vorgesehenen Plätze oder solche Stellen, an denen sichtbar kein Schaden angerichtet werden kann. ...
