YT-Episode 8 - It’s not all sunsets 🌅 and fair winds 🌬️ We were lucky enough to find the last place in a marina as a Mistral storm came down from France and across the Balearic Islands/Sardinia. 65 knots (74 mph) of wind was reported by those out at Sea. We saw 45 knots (51 mph) on the North East coast of Mallorca. Being moored up in a marina we were relatively comfortable and very thankful to have not been at anchor or on the water. We had 6 lines on, snapped one line and will probably have to replace a couple of others due to chaffing on the rusted bollards, but we are all safe and sound. "Jack" is a McConaghy MC75 that we saw recently at the Palma boat show in Mallorca. ▫️ The MC75 is a lightweight, fully customisable luxury catamaran. ▫️ The progressive design features a flybridge that can be ranged forward in a more aggressive styling or extended aft for a sleeker look. ▫️ She has a huge saloon lounge with a dining area and walk-around bar, a spacious aft deck with sofas and al fresco dining space, and cushioned sun pads forward of the superstructure.
