YT-Episode 8 - It’s not all sunsets 🌅 and fair winds 🌬️ We were lucky enough to find the last place in a marina as a Mistral storm came down from France and across the Balearic Islands/Sardinia. 65 knots (74 mph) of wind was reported by those out at Sea. We saw 45 knots (51 mph) on the North East coast of Mallorca. Being moored up in a marina we were relatively comfortable and very thankful to have not been at anchor or on the water. We had 6 lines on, snapped one line and will probably have to replace a couple of others due to chaffing on the rusted bollards, but we are all safe and sound. 25km back into the high country of the Canadian Rockies and we bump into this pair! Mule deer selfies are a thing in the national parks (unfortunately). But this isn’t a park or touristy place.
