Sailing Ibiza to Mallorca | Palma Cathedral, Sail Repairs & Stormy Anchorages - Episode 7 Thanks for joining our tiny adventure ⛵️ 🧡 https://youtu.be/gwGwf-1tIb0?si=bTGZZVVA3LvtczhD In this episode of Sailing Sacred Seas, we say goodbye to the magical island of Ibiza and set sail on our second offshore passage to Mallorca aboard our Liveaboard sailboat, Kaia our Lagoon 440. With full sails and steady winds, we arrive just in time for a golden sunset in the bay of Peguera. We explore the historic heart of Palma, including the stunning Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, before enjoying some authentic Mallorcan cuisine at a local favorite. Back on board, it’s time for some essential sailboat maintenance. We take down our headsail, inspect and lubricate the furling system, and patch a few tears on the leech. With Vika on the winch and Kaia back in shape, we’re ready to continue our journey. From scenic anchorages along Mallorca’s rugged north coast, to hiding out in a marina during a passing mistral storm, this leg of our journey is filled with beauty, challenge, and rhythm of life at sea. 👉 Next up: Menorca – raw, wild, and deeply peaceful. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to follow our journey as we sail sacred seas! 👍🏼👌🏼 Thanks for your support ❤️ Link in bio or search YouTube for ‘Sailing Sacred Seas’ – let’s set sail together! ⚓💙 We hope that you will follow us on insta, Facebook and YouTube - SAILING SACRED SEAS #sailing #yacht #cruiser #sailingboat #travel #wanderlust #nature #adventure #boatlife #lagoon440 #lagooncatamaran #sailingyoutube #catamaran #mallorca

This might have not been a lap of the planet for these highly accomplished sailors and their crews, but there was no doubt that as the longest leg so far it was also the most complex and, as it turned out, the most stressful too. From straight line blasts to full on park-ups, the leader board took several major shuffles and ensured that few of the crews got much sleep at all during the 1,400 mile leg.

Usually when we go places like the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we try to bring you news of the latest and greatest. Furuno didn't have any new marine electronics to show us this year, but when we spent a moment talking with the Furuno guys, we learned something very interesting. So interesting, in fact, we just had to get it down on film - check it out. http://features.boats.com/boat-content/2013/12/furuno-first-look-video/ For more electronics videos, visit www.boats.com.

Eineinhalb Rundtörns mit zwei halben Schlägen Rundherum sicher: Heute ist der einfache Rundtörn dran. Einmal richtig angewendet sitzt er felsenfest und hilft in vielen Situationen beim Segeln.
