We sold our dream home mid-pandemic and after moving 3 times in 3 months we landed aboard our Seawind 1600 catamaran Wanderlust. We are Kristin + Fabio Potenti and our lovely little French Bulldog Yoda is on board with us. This dream has been in the making for years and we're super excited that it's finally coming true! It's all a bit surreal. We're longing to explore the world by sea, learn about different cultures and eat delicious food everywhere we go. For now we're based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL due to travel restrictions, which is a great location to get accustomed to the boat. This is a short intro video to share who we are and why we sold our home and moved onto a catamaran. We'll be documenting our journey as we learn the ins and outs of boat life, sail the beautiful waters of South Florida and the Bahamas, and cook up a storm in our galley. When a school of jacks come through a dive site they can be ruthless. Hunting every little fish in their path! On this scuba dive in Raja Ampat, the jacks were eating so many fish, the water was littered with fish scales!!

We anchored for a week, taking daily dinghy rides in, to hike Monument Beach. We did a trash clean up and beach walk one day, hiked the face of the cliff side another and soaked in all the sun!! One of the best more relaxing days we've had sailing in the Bahamas!
