We sold our dream home mid-pandemic and after moving 3 times in 3 months we landed aboard our Seawind 1600 catamaran Wanderlust. We are Kristin + Fabio Potenti and our lovely little French Bulldog Yoda is on board with us. This dream has been in the making for years and we're super excited that it's finally coming true! It's all a bit surreal. We're longing to explore the world by sea, learn about different cultures and eat delicious food everywhere we go. For now we're based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL due to travel restrictions, which is a great location to get accustomed to the boat. This is a short intro video to share who we are and why we sold our home and moved onto a catamaran. We'll be documenting our journey as we learn the ins and outs of boat life, sail the beautiful waters of South Florida and the Bahamas, and cook up a storm in our galley. Spearfishing massive Yellowtail Amberjack in Western Australia. Guess what this one weighed in at? I dove down intending to just get footage of this huge school of massive Samson Fish. But as I got level with the school, I discovered it was only the front part of a larger school. The whole back portion was many more monster Yellowtail Amberjack. I waited for a clean shot, only just missing the brain. But this shot stuck hard and my spear let me use all the leverage I wanted to so I could pull in this massive fish solo without using any floats. . . La Spiaggia di Rena Majore situata nella Nurra nel comune di Sassari in Sardegna. Si arriva seguendo le indicazioni per Stintino, fino ad arrivare ad un piccolo borgo chiamato ""Pozzo San Nicola". Da qui, proseguiremo dritti nella rotatoria, direzione Palmadula e Argentiera, fino ad incrociare sulla destra, un'accesso molto visibile con la scritta "Residence Villaggio Nurra". Da qui proseguiremo fino al cancello, dove inizierà una strada sterrata. La percorriamo fino a trovarci un grande spazio dove parcheggiare (in alta stagione vedrete molti veicoli). In questo punto si parcheggia ed ha inizio un sentiero abbastanza difficoltoso che alterna tratti ripidi a tratti pianeggianti e che conduce alla spiaggia in circa 15 minuti In primavera e autunno la scelgo per fare lunghe passeggiate sulla spiaggia e trekking sulla costa, un panorama mozzafiato. Sconsigliato in giorni di Maestrale, in quella specifica area di costa entra molto prepotentemente. Il mare è limpidissimo, da come si può notare nel video.
