We got a tear in the mainsail along the luff. You don't want to let these get away from you for too long or they start to open up even more, so I did a "temporary" patch on it before going back up the rugged coast of central California.

Allan Norregaard, bronze medalist from London 2012 got pretty animated when talking about the racing venue for Rio 2016. After two frustrating days at the Intergalactic championships on the Olympic waters he declared them unfit for Olympic racing. His suggestion: clean up the bay or sail outside on the ocean.
