Previously I sailed with two other people and we did watches of 3 hours which gives you 6 hours off and it was very pleasant. You get enough sleep and your shifts rotate, so no one gets stuck freezing every night. My husband and I are about to do a 4-5 day sail on our own, and I want to know, what is your favourite watch schedule for 2 people? We're planning on 4 hours on, 4 hours off, unless you convince us otherwise! Also, would you do a different style of watches for 3 people crossing the Atlantic ocean? Please comment. The first week for the season ending frosties regatta at SLYC was sailed under grey skies with big breeze. The crew on the Sigma 33 Squawk showed the rest of the YTC 2 yachts how to handle the spinnaker with ease. They setup to go deep and flew down the last run on the way to second place in Race 2.
