Previously I sailed with two other people and we did watches of 3 hours which gives you 6 hours off and it was very pleasant. You get enough sleep and your shifts rotate, so no one gets stuck freezing every night. My husband and I are about to do a 4-5 day sail on our own, and I want to know, what is your favourite watch schedule for 2 people? We're planning on 4 hours on, 4 hours off, unless you convince us otherwise! Also, would you do a different style of watches for 3 people crossing the Atlantic ocean? Please comment. First time outside on the sailboat! He was confused by the water but loved exploring from bow to stern! Had to make sure he didn’t try to jump onto our Neighbors boat 😂 Next step is bringing him out with us and then spending the night 🥰
