Previously I sailed with two other people and we did watches of 3 hours which gives you 6 hours off and it was very pleasant. You get enough sleep and your shifts rotate, so no one gets stuck freezing every night. My husband and I are about to do a 4-5 day sail on our own, and I want to know, what is your favourite watch schedule for 2 people? We're planning on 4 hours on, 4 hours off, unless you convince us otherwise! Also, would you do a different style of watches for 3 people crossing the Atlantic ocean? Please comment. What are your thoughts, sailing questions, sailing watches, sailing schedules, how do people sail, what is the best sailing schedule, what is the best watch schedule, what do you think, experienced sailors might know, everyone has an opinion, tell me what you know, tell me what you think, asking honest questions, how do you cross an ocean
iFLY15 hydrofoil catamaran foiling stable even in extreme conditions. Dramatic pictures when strong wind front was coming over the regatta field of 50ème Grand Prix de L'Armistice Bordeaux, Carcans-Maubuisson. Catamaran sailing on the limit, and beyond. For many catamaran sailors it was capsizing day… For some seconds, when the first strong gusts came in, it was actually pritty scary, with 90% of the fleet capsizing within seconds. People screeming, quite some material braking...all running away from the storm. (The audio of the video is life recorded by my action cam, by the way...) I was able to fly my iFLY stable even in these extreme conditions. High speed foiling above the waves, in some really strong wind with heavy gusts. Speed was insane! And I was bearing away until wind was close to from behind (while apparent wind was still like upwind). Some exciting foiling under extreme conditions, made possible by advanced technology. „ We love SPEED while keeping CONTROL " ____________________ https://iFLYsail.com #iFLY15 #FoilingCatamaran #CatamaranVolant #WeLoveSpeed #WhileKeepingControl #HydrofoilSailing #CatamaranCapsize
