Sorry for the shakey video. It'll get better! Better look at our living space/dining room/main hub. Both L&N like to paly it safe, so there are multiple fire extinguishers in the boat, in the shed, and ~60L of water in portable jugs as well. So far, no concerns, but with an enclosed space running welders, torchers, or grinders creates a lot of debris that could potentially cause an issue if we aren't paying attention.

StarSloop Channel Trailer for our Sailing vLog: Cruising, Sailing and Traveling with our 2010 MacGregor 26M along with our 1977 Morgan 415 OI Ketch and now with our '92 Privilege 39 2025 Update! Last year was spent downsizing from and liquidating our horse ranch, preparing for a life adventure living aboard our boat. We changed plans and purchased an old Jentot Privilege 39 sailing catamaran. I'll sell Matilda, our Morgan 415 OI while preparing the cat for moving on board once my wife retires. This channel has been a tale of two (now three) Sailboats: (1) Trailer-Sailing : Pocket-Cruising, Sailing and Traveling with our beloved MacGregor 26M: Galactica. (2) Weekend liveaboard Sailing : We spend an average of 38--40 weekends per year on our Morgan OI 415 ketch sailing a midwestern U.S. hidden gem of a lake with our boating friends! (3) preparing GalaxSea, our new to us catamaran for our use. I have more content to publish to this channel as we work through the many months of preparation and transition to become future liveaboards--on a budget! This series is mostly a window into our sailing lifestyle as we've learned to sail, the modifications and maintenance and boating fellowship along the way. Blue water, breeze, and a big win. 🌊 Day 2️⃣ of the North Sound Maxi Regatta delivered on its promise—a 26-mile coastal race that started and finished in the heart of the North Sound, threading through islands and tight corners, with conditions that kept tacticians on high alert. Balthasar, powered by North Sails, sailed a smart and steady race to take the win on corrected time, while V claimed line honours. “It was very intense at the beginning—way more breeze than expected,” said North Sails expert Bouwe Bekking, project manager onboard Balthasar. “We nailed our timing at the start and got clear air. That helped us march to the first mark. We’ve done a lot of offshore races, so we know the angles, we know our sail settings. That really helped today.” With two races down and momentum building, Balthasar now leads the fleet—proof that performance, preparation, and precision continue to pay off in the Caribbean’s most scenic battleground. Back at it today. More breeze, more battles, more racing to come. 🏁🌬️ #NorthSails #MaxiRegatta #BitterEndYachtClub #NorthSound #VirginGorda  🎥 Vertigo Films | North Sound Maxi Regatta
