Back when we were reprovisioning for our ocean passage from Port Vila, Vanuatu to Noumea, New Caledonia. Vicki is considered somewhat of a hoarder when it comes to food and let's just say that Tāiko is always well stocked with tin goods. Her philosophy is 'There's always room for one more tin!". #sailingcouple #sailing #sailingaway #sailinglife #sailingboat #sailingyacht #sailingvessel #sailingadventure #passageplanning #passageplanning☕ #passageplanning2 #passageplanning🌎 #oceancrossing #oceancrossings

Joe Woods and Red were having a good regatta on San Francisco Bay, when one small error, a round up while setting the chute in Race 6 of the 2010 Melges Worlds, led to disaster. Red continued on immediately after the crash but retired when damage to the boat and an injured crewman made continuing to race unsustainable. A full regatta video will follow shortly on the VinceSail Channel.

Let’s dance to warm up 😉 Pierre shows his moves on the banks of the Qu'Appelle River in Saskatchewan. The Qu’Appelle River crisscrosses southern Saskatchewan. It takes it source at the Qu'Appelle Dam on Lake Diefenbaker and flows into the Assiniboine River in Manitoba. It is very curvy. To give you an idea of conversion, 50 km of river was often only the equivalent of 30 km as the crow flies. Although this river is bordered mainly cattle farms, there is a great diversity of wildlife and birds. In addition, the Qu'Appelle River is part of the Great Trail, the Trans Canada Trail for a total distance of 166.73 km from Lumsden to Katepwa Beach. #ClipperCanoes #Hilleberg #ORTLIEB #HappyYak #Wildravenadventure #JasminetheBearDog #canoelife #canoe #adventure #NoramOdyssey #4yearscanoeadventure #Canada #exploresaskatchewan #explorecanada #canada #happiness

A domani! Camilla

We’ve never seen snowflakes like this—perfectly uniform crystals that seriously looked like cupcake sprinkles falling from the sky. ❄️🧁✨ Filmed during our winter backcountry trip in Newfoundland. Full episode is live now—subscribe for more boat life + winter adventures: https://youtu.be/LrlitUuUIyA #shorts #Snowflakes #Newfoundland #WinterWonder #Nature #WinterAdventure #BackcountrySkiing #OutdoorLife #ArabellaSailboat -------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella started as a wooden boat building project in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve began the journey as an amateur wooden boat builder crafting a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and now sailing the boat—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that traditional wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project continues beyond the boat shop, as Steve and crew travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority TotalBoat supports A2A!
