In this short video we explain how to tie a bowline when you can’t see your hands. The bowline is one of the most commonly used knots in sailing or on sailboats. Many of us have learned the rabbit-hole-tree method, but I find that difficult to use when I can't see what I'm doing. With practice the method shown in this video can be done by feel, without the need to see your hands. To tie the bowline around an object using this method, simply pass the bitter end around the object before passing it back through the thumb loop (i.e. between steps 2 and 3) and pulling the knot over itself. http://uberscubakomodo.com Wow, what a fantastic dive at Manta Point in February 2015. In this video we can see the epic experience on of our crew had at Manta Point, a dive site just east of Komodo Island. The video begins with a pan of the azure blue waters of Manta Point, and fades into an underwater scenery. Here we have a shot of a Manta cleaning station and two manta's dancing together, just to the background. Don't worry we used a GoPro Hero3+ to film this video, with a red filter and a MACRO lens...! We pan to a shot of a Manta Ray flirting with us, effortlessly battling the current, until it approaches our diver in a crazy BUCKET LIST moment. Who would have thought we could get so close to such a magnificent creature! Dive Komodo with Uber Scuba, we know the best dive site and can ensure you the best experience. ⛵️ The Code Zero is a cross between a genoa and an asymmetrical spinnaker that is used for sailing close to the wind in light air. Code Zero was initially an attempt to circumvent a rating rule by making a large genoa for close reaching on boats that were measured with non-overlapping genoas. Did you know? 🔎
