The Tres Hombres crew visited our coffee producer in the mountains of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It's Colombia’s main organic coffee-producing region. You will find plantations of Indigenous groups, rural organizations, and small independent plantations. Lots of speciality coffee will be loaded onto the Tres Hombres and cross the ocean to Amsterdam. After being roasted in a traditional way the coffee will be available in our webshop. STRAMBATA: Dal traverso mure a sinistra si passa rapidamente al traverso mure a dritta, il timoniere compie un angolo di abbattuta molto stretto, il trimmer dell gennaker lasca completamente la scotta per permettere la rotazione dell gennaker, il prodiere aiuta la regolazione della vela nelle nuove mure prendendo in mano la bugna e correndo verso poppa. La randa passa velocemente da una mura all'altra, il resto dell'equipaggio segue i movimenti della barca spostando i pesi contemporaneamente da sottovento a sottovento nelle nuove mura.

La costruzione del Casone di appostamento Donnabona, sembra avere origini anteriori al 1628. Situato sul canale della bonifica Fosse-Foce, lo stato di consegna del 1843 lo descrive come una casa distinguibile in due vasi a cui veniva attribuito anche scopo di ricovero e manutenzione per le barche. Il caratteristico nome sembra derivare da racconti popolari: si narra che qualche donna andasse a proporsi ai guardiani del Casone per allietarli durante le lunghe giornate di lavoro. Come altri panorami delle valli comacchiesi, Casone Donnabona è stato location di riprese cinematografiche, nel “Signor Diavolo” del regista Pupi Avati rappresenta la dimora di Liù, la ragazza più bella di Lio Piccolo. Tappa imperdibile nei tour attorno alle Valli di Comacchio, Casone Donnabona ospita ciclicamente al suo interno mostre fotografiche tematiche. Il suggestivo allestimento con abiti, mobilio e attrezzi della tradizione, rievoca l’atmosfera respirata un tempo dagli uomini di valle.

The coral reefs are home to many different animals, and they all live together in harmony. #Fish of all colors, shapes, and sizes swim around like living jewels. #Seaturtles move gracefully through the water, and octopuses hide by changing their appearance to match their surroundings. But there's more to it. Even the tiniest creatures, too small to see, are vital to this underwater ecosystem. Sponges, soft corals, and #anemones provide homes and food for many other animals, like #crabs and snails. Every time you go diving on a coral reef, you can discover something new. It reminds us how important it is to take care of these amazing places, so they can continue to astound us and be home to all these wonderful creatures for a long time. So, please don’t touch them as the corals can break easily and they take a very long time to grow back.
