The Tres Hombres crew visited our coffee producer in the mountains of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It's Colombia’s main organic coffee-producing region. You will find plantations of Indigenous groups, rural organizations, and small independent plantations. Lots of speciality coffee will be loaded onto the Tres Hombres and cross the ocean to Amsterdam. After being roasted in a traditional way the coffee will be available in our webshop.

The Magic of Sailing with the Best Skipper A great skipper turns a sailing trip into an unforgettable adventure. Here's what makes a professional skipper an essential part of your Croatian sailing experience: Local Knowledge: The best skippers know the Adriatic like the back of their hand. They’ll guide you to stunning lagoons, where the waters are so clear you can see straight to the bottom. They’ll take you off the beaten path to quiet bays and hidden coves that are often missed by regular tourists. Tailored Experience: With a skipper, your itinerary is completely flexible and tailored to your preferences. Want to spend an extra day in a tranquil lagoon or explore a quaint fishing village? Your skipper will adjust the route to suit your mood, ensuring every day feels like the perfect adventure. Stress-Free Sailing: No sailing experience is required on your part. The skipper handles all the sailing, docking, and anchoring, so you can focus entirely on relaxing, swimming, and enjoying your time on the water. Personal Guide: Your skipper is more than just a captain—they’re also your personal guide. They can recommend the best local restaurants, suggest exciting activities, and even share stories and history about the places you visit. Their local insights bring a whole new dimension to your trip. The Best Lagoons for Swimming in Croatia One of the highlights of sailing in Croatia is discovering its beautiful lagoons, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and simply soaking in the natural beauty. Here are some must-visit spots where your skipper will drop anchor for the ultimate swimming experience: 1. The Blue Lagoon (Krknjaši Bay) Located between the islands of Drvenik and Krknjaš, the Blue Lagoon is a paradise for swimmers and snorkelers alike. The shallow, sapphire-blue waters are crystal clear, offering visibility that makes you feel like you’re floating in a giant natural pool. The surrounding landscape is equally stunning, with rocky shores and lush green hills framing this idyllic lagoon. This is a perfect stop for a leisurely swim and a relaxing afternoon on deck, basking in the Mediterranean sun. 2. Stiniva Bay (Vis Island) Vis Island is known for its rugged beauty and secluded coves, and Stiniva Bay is one of the most famous. This breathtaking lagoon is tucked between high cliffs, making it feel like a hidden oasis. The narrow entrance opens up to a wide, pebbly beach, where you can swim in the calm waters or simply float in the turquoise sea, surrounded by the dramatic cliffs. It’s an unforgettable spot, and the best skippers know exactly when to take you there to avoid the crowds. 3. Saplunara Lagoon (Mljet Island) Mljet is one of Croatia’s greenest islands, home to dense forests, saltwater lakes, and stunning lagoons. Saplunara Lagoon, located on the island’s southeastern tip, is a serene and unspoiled paradise. The shallow, warm waters of this lagoon are ideal for swimming and paddleboarding. You’ll feel like you’ve found your own private sanctuary, far from the hustle and bustle of busier islands. After a swim, you can relax on the white sand beach or explore Mljet’s lush landscapes. 4. Proizd Island (Near Korčula) Proizd Island, located just off the coast of Korčula, is often hailed as one of the most beautiful spots in Croatia. The island’s coastline is dotted with small, quiet lagoons where the water takes on shades of brilliant turquoise and emerald. Your skipper will navigate the boat to one of these secluded bays, where you can swim, snorkel, or simply float in the crystal-clear waters. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in nature’s beauty. A Day in the Life: Sailing, Swimming, and Chilling On a typical day sailing in Croatia, your adventure might look something like this: Morning: Sailing and Exploring Wake up to the gentle sound of waves as the sun rises over the horizon. After a leisurely breakfast on deck, your skipper sets sail for the day’s first destination. As the boat glides across the calm waters, you can relax on the deck, take in the stunning coastal views, or chat with your friends. As you sail, your skipper shares stories about the islands you pass and gives you insider tips about the best places to explore. The freedom of sailing allows you to adjust plans on the fly, so whether you want to spend time swimming, exploring a coastal town, or simply chilling on the boat, it’s all up to you. Why Sailing in Croatia is the Ultimate Escape Sailing in Croatia offers the perfect blend of excitement and tranquility. With a professional skipper guiding your way, you’ll discover hidden lagoons, swim in some of the clearest waters in the world, and explore charming island towns.
