Ghost pepper jerky and bad delivery logistics. ​We made it back from dad's place and survived the Buc-ee's run. Picked up some of their Ghost Pepper beef jerky—sister-in-law can't handle it, and the wife won't even touch the bag. More for me. ​On top of that, we tried ordering a pizza and they told us it would take four hours to deliver. The starboard start looked like it would be a golden until it got light under the dock making it difficult to roll into a tack, leaving the door wide open for a late starter on port to race out to the right before rolling into a tack perfectly on the lay line. The speed on the way to the top mark was impressive and gave them a big lead at the first mark. The team at bottom up boats love sailboat racing of all shapes and sizes, I loved taking this footage and spending a few minutes on the dock talking to some life long sailors who now enjoy racing from the peer long past the days that their sea legs have deserted them.
