The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.

PART TWO - The pucker factor: full moon king tide changed two bridges from 65' clearance to 63'--and we really need 62' clearance! Our New Bern anchorage was behind two 65' fixed bridges, one highway lift bridge and a swinging railroad bridge--what an adventure! #sailinglife #SailingtheGalaxSea #starsloop #boatlife #sliceoflife
