That's probably the most common mistake new sailors do when med Mooring. After stopping the boat, instead of getting into neutral, they just drop to dead slow forward, and that results the boat to exit the slot and completely ruin a successful approach. In June 2022 we chose to scrape and grind our hull down to the original gel coat. It was hot, it was hard work and yes it was worth it. Flashback to Preveza, Greece working on the hull and knowing it was all going to be worth it.
