Sailing vessel Tapatya This is the story of SV Tapatya, a self-built, Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of our adventures as I live aboard, sail and strive to find out just what such a self-built, low-budget vessel is capable of. July 1st-Anchored at the island of Tobacco Caye, Belize we got up early ready to visit the underwater world. There was a strong current in the ocean, so Kristie & David stayed in the dinghy following us as we explored. Being back in the water was pure bliss and an instant calm.
