► Sunreef Yachts ► A Third Shipyard Near Dubai The specialist in large custom luxury catamarans already operates out of two sites in Gdańsk, Poland, but has also just opened third yard in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. For the builder, demand in the Middle East region is indeed significant, justifying an investment of nearly 30 million euros with the aim of expanding its industrial capacity by building a new state-of-the-art facility. Sunreef Yachts acquired a 16-acre (65,000 m²) site on which the construction of a first 110,000 square foot (10,000 m²) building was completed. The new yard began production in September 2023, initially employing around 50 staff. Forward of the salon area, is the master stateroom which features a center line queen berth. There is an en-suite head with shower and more than adequate locker and drawer storage. The interior is high-glossed cherry wood. The upper helm features a lounge to port directly across from the helm. The helm has a double seat and full instrumentation. The helm area also has a molded, non skid passageway through the windshield to the bow cushions for sunning. The aft portion of the cockpit has a pull out bench seat aft, cockpit shower, easy access to the engine room. The large swim platform is perfect for extended trips.
