Following an hour’s relaxing cruising, where you can enjoy the magnificent views to the Saronic gulf and its island-filled landscape, we make our first swim stop, off at Vouliagmeni Bay, one of the cosmopolitan spots in Athenian Riviera. We drop anchor between some fascinating super yachts, and we have an hour’s long time to swim & snorkel, take some great photos and jumping off the boat. Take advantage of the snorkelling equipment, and explore the underwater world! Later on, we set sail for nearby Hydroussa uninhabited islet, accessible only by sea, and we drop anchor for a second time. Here, you can enjoy its azure coloured waters by taking advantage of all gear aboard, while being surrounded by a beautiful coastal setting. Our hostess will be preparing a freshly made Greek light lunch to be served in a pristine environment, while you get back onboard from enjoying the crystal clear blue waters ! Upon taking anchor up and head to port, don’t miss glaring on the scenic route along the Athens riviera we follow, which is ideal for some photo-shooting, with our crew willing to become a photographer and take some of the best photos in Athens! Well done to all who were involved in returning this beautiful classic sailing yacht to its former glory. The following series captures the extensive restoration of Brynhilde, a 1958 Fred Parker 10-metre wooden Bermudian sloop, who arrived here at Berthon on the 4th October 2019. She has been in her present family’s ownership for the past 40 years, competing in the Hill Robinson sponsored regattas in the south of France for over a decade, and most recently sailed at the 2021 Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe. Arriving for a deck replacement but undergoing broad further works, Brynhilde is a beautiful example of a timeless yacht refitted to an incredibly high standard. Traditional skills were used throughout this project.
