We had a wonderful 2 months in St. Augustine! We stayed in the mooring field north of the Bridge of Lions. I got a lot of sewing projects done but it wasn’t all work and no play. We visited local breweries, taco stands, restaurants, ran and did some yoga, had family visit and met lots new and old friends. Just look at that #seaturtles strong beak, as it tears off the vegetation with ease. This endangered species’ strong jaw and beak are tremendously tough, it can bite and tear through the rugged, fibrous structure of #seagrass and #algae. Their jaws are also adapted to a grinding motion, allowing them to use this motion to break down the rough fibers of the vegetation into smaller pieces that are easier to digest and efficiently consume plant material as much as they can in one bite.
