Spearfishing massive Yellowtail Amberjack in Western Australia. Guess what this one weighed in at? I dove down intending to just get footage of this huge school of massive Samson Fish. But as I got level with the school, I discovered it was only the front part of a larger school. The whole back portion was many more monster Yellowtail Amberjack. I waited for a clean shot, only just missing the brain. But this shot stuck hard and my spear let me use all the leverage I wanted to so I could pull in this massive fish solo without using any floats. . . Incredible discovery whilst I was free diving off the coast of South Africa so lucky to find this jelly fish and get a close up of how it moves in the water and the beautiful colours it has on display. Free diving is an incredible hobby of mine and has taken me to places all across the globe. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to see so many sea creatures up close. . . . .
