Happy 1st of December! 🌟 We’re kicking off our Christmas calendar with a tour of the salon, the heart of our boat, Vela. ❤️ This space is so much more than just a room: ➡️ On the port side, our cozy settee transforms into a dining room, office, or even a nap spot during passages. 🛋️💤 ➡️ On the starboard side, we have two lounge chairs with a hidden drinks locker in the middle—perfect for those sailing sundowners. 🍹 ➡️ The salon also holds tons of storage, but we’ll dive into that in a later episode! 🚪 It’s the first room you step into when you come aboard, and it’s where we live, work, eat, relax, and more. Diesmal liegt ein ganz besonderes Highlight auf unserer Route: Die schmalste Meerenge der Welt. Diese kann aufgrund starker Strömungen nur nachts durchfahren werden. Während der Durchfahrt im Pulk mit einigen Segelbooten staut es sich gerade an der engsten Stelle bedenklich! Seht selbst, ob wir heil durchkommen und was wir noch so erleben auf dieser Tour. This time there is a very special highlight on our route: the narrowest strait in the world. Due to strong currents, it can only be crossed at night. During the passage in a group with a few sailing boats, there is a serious traffic jam at the narrowest point! See for yourself whether we get through safely and what else we experience on this tour.
