The Mills 36 Custom - Prime Suspect - IRL 5991 beating to windward on the way to the finish line in the Harbour Race of Volvo Cork Week 2024. The Team on J109 Going to Red were a little surprised to be so close to this downwind flier towards the back end of the Harbour race. They look like they needed some more bodies on the rail and a bit more mast bend to flatten out the main. I visit Turkey very regularly, and as far as yacht building is concerned I’ve just about seen it all; from spectacular, modern state of the art facilities to yachts being built in a field surrounded by cows 🐮🐮🐮 Before you fly over to check out a yacht that you are considering buying, it’s advisable to do a little research. My team and I recently visited the ARES Shipyard and were extremely impressed both by the facilities and by their heritage in building rugged military craft. This is a shipyard well worth visiting!
