This is what Explore 62 North can offer you and your friends. The sailboat Westland is the basecamp for four days packed with experiences for us who are going on a trip. Here we live and sleep. In the morning the crashing of waves, the sound of seabirds and the smell of freshly brewed coffee awakens us.

EP 68 Galley (Kitchen) Restoration on our Pearson 34 Sailboat - We are Ready for Sailing Now! Sailboat refits and sailboat restorations take time and effort, but when you see the end result, you realize it was all worth it. This week we completed the final restoration on our galley, we installed EVA Foam to create insulation and installed shelves, and a facia. Cover our countertop with vinyl flooring giving it a butcher block look. It was. Lot of work, especially when you have to deal with curves everywhere. As a bonus, cut our countertop ago to create a two-section approach for our Dometic CFX3 75 DZ Electric Cooler this allows us to access the full capability of both the fridge and the freezer. The sail from George Town to Black Point was awesome. The last hour, a squall came through shifting the wind around to the nose. We had purposely gone this far, missing Staniel Cay, so that we'd hit cut on a flood and not have to burn a bunch of fuel with an ebb tide. I would suspect this cut would be pretty challenging hitting it on an ebb with opposing wind. It was pretty calm outside the cut, but the waves really turned up inside the cut (on the Bahamas Bank Side)

#6 Montafon Banked Slalom presented by DEELUXE March 19th, 2016 • Gargellen, Austria It’s banked time again!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have the pleasure to announce the up and coming 6th edition of the Montafon Banked Slalom. Like the past years, it will take place in the beautiful so called « Banked Town », Gargellen, deep in the Montafon valley, west wild part of Austria. On Saturday, March 19th, the race format will welcome 150 racers in the (in)famous « Barrel gully » which will burn legs for two fired up runs. After a day of hot berm shredding, we will gather around live bands at the bottom of the resort to celebrate the fastest racers during the prize giving.
