In order to get our sailboat home ready to explore the Caribbean Sea it was time to reinstall the genoa sail! Nicknamed "the dummy sail" on our boat, it's the easiest of our sails to use, able to be operated by one person back in the helm of our Leopard 45 catamaran, and used in a wide range of wind conditions. This van can only hold about 11 gallons of fuel in its tank, which is why we brought 2 spare cans. I thought finding diesel would be more of an issue, but there were enough fuel stations to never even need the emergency stash.
