Hi we are @StellaOverboard also known as Jesse and Camille — a couple in our twenties who just made the biggest leap of our lives: we sold everything and bought our very first sailboat... in a foreign country. 🌍⛵She's a 2007 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i, complete with dual helms and three berths. This is our very first video documenting the wild adventure we've just begun — a journey of learning to sail, living off-grid, and building a new life on the ocean. We're not seasoned sailors. We're not influencers. We're two ordinary people who wanted something more: freedom, connection, and challenge. 📍 We bought our boat in: Langkawi, Malaysia 🎥 Filmed: Our first week living aboard! "Shallow draft is at the foundation of how we use our Hinckley. With only a few feet of water at our dock at low tide, a Talaria 43 MKII was the only boat that we could keep at our home. And this is where life aboard our Hinckley starts. Today we were able skim quickly across shallow areas without appendage anxiety to sneak ashore at this forgotten beach. We let the kids step off the swim platform and easily explore the beach; no one else would think of coming here, I can’t believe we’re the only ones here. Only on a Hinckley." Shroud tensions on a dinghy are critical to performance, and being able to replicate those settings time and again is vital. The problem has always been that rig gauges wear as they get older, leading to decreased accuracy and you sailing with the wrong rig settings. Using another rig tension gauge, even if it’s of the same make and design, can often give two completely different numbers, which makes it near impossible to replicate settings from a tuning guide unless you have a brand-new rig gauge. This led Daniel Henderson and the team of engineers at Sea Sure to develop the Rig Gauge Pro. Designed to give you the same accurate readings time and time again, so that you can perform at your best and have confidence that your rig is set up right. Sea Sure's Daniel Henderson explains why the Rig Gauge Pro is so different. Now available from your local chandleries, including Marine Super Store, Force 4, Fox’s Chandlery, Pinnell & Bax, Hartley Boats.
