What is Raiding? At our events, which span four days of sailing, each day's races (or non-competitive group sailing, depending on which boat you're on) are divided between our smaller craft and larger yachts. Routes are set by Matt and most participants are lined up for the starting sequence! Cream tea or a picnic moored up in a cove, the days vary depending on where we sail and the weather of course. Evenings are spent unwinding by the water with a cold drink, followed by a delicious meal and the day's prize-giving, always full of good humour. Some of the hardier sailors stay aboard their Swallow, while others opt for a more luxurious stay in nearby accommodations. Unlike traditional racing, raiding is all about camaraderie, strategy, and skill—without the use of engines. It’s just wind, water, and teamwork! ** Infinity Expedition lands in Auckland after 2 weeks offshore*** What a view! - Watch in Full HD We had a tranquil passage from Vanuatu, with light but consistent winds. Land ahoy was the word when we first spotted land, what a feeling! Arrival was in the first hours of the morning, sun raising behind us, and on the distance the skyscrapers. Quite a shock for most of the crew, after months in the tropical South Pacific. Auckland is our home for the next few weeks, while we get ready for our next Journey - Antarctica!
